Must haves:
- 5+ Years ArcGIS Pro Experience
- Ability to function autonomously as a representative of the GIS Unit within a customer organization
- Extensive knowledge of GIS principles, theories, and practices
- Extensive hands-on experience with ESRI’s suite of ArcGIS products
- Specifically need Roads and Highways Module within ESRI
- Extensive hands-on experience of GIS analysis processes
- Extensive knowledge of GIS transportation data and processes
- Advanced hands-on experience with Linear Referencing System methods
- Extensive hands-on experience of SQL and Python scripting experience
- Advanced knowledge of GIS data acquisition and an extensive understanding of spatial data modeling

Day to day:
A client is looking for a Advanced GIS Analyst to support their customer. This person’s responsibilities would include:
- Providing full spectrum guidance on GIS data implementation strategies in coordination with the customer’s GIS Unit.
- Developing products based on current geospatial science standards and practices specific to cartographic output, image cataloging, data development, and data management.
- Analyzing the requirements and issues related to business requests
- Designing procedures and data models that meet the requirements and address the specific issues.
- Write Python scripts or develop tools to implement these procedures.
- Perform GIS scripting using Python and SQL to create or improve data products.
- Testing, QA/QC, and verifications of procedures and products.
- Mastery of deployment of products to customers either as part of GIS desktop application or as services via ArcGIS server
